The Animal House

This is a film that I made for the NFAA Arts competition. It’s a social satire on the human race and their self-placement in the animal kingdom (they’re hardly there). When we talk about all beings on this planet, we normally say humans AND animals. The fact is that we are all animals, and don’t deserve any superior placement, no matter how much more intelligent or “civilized” we are. The acting style is intended to display the characteristics inherit in some animals that are incredibly similar to specific types of people in our society and how they are almost a splitting image of primitive “animal” behavior. I didn’t feel that dialogue was necessary to display this message, so the characters speak in the tongues of the animals that their characters derive from. Perhaps this is too much information for everyone. So nonetheless, enjoy the show. PS. Merit Award Winner in Film/Video for NFAA ARTS Competition!
